Hi Dick,

you are right, we have no python binding yet. Our primary development goal is a working proxy for MAPI calls, based on a enhanced ONC RPC prototocol (based on VIPcom's TXC). As far as I know there is a ONC RPC stub generator available for python. So please get in contact with jroith. He can provide the latest IDLs for connecting the proxy. Ckellner is working on a wrapper for Zarafa at the moment.

Feel free to ask questions and to contribute!

Yours
  Tom

Betreff: [openmapi.org devel] Python bindings

Hi list,

In the announcement on openmapi a python binding is mentioned. On the
website I didn't find anything about this. Is any development going on
in this field? If so, I would like to get acquainted with the
developers, and will participate in the development.

Specifically to be able to connect to a mapi server we installed Zarafa.
However the Zarafa server has a PHP api which is less suitable for the
purpose we have. Will the PHP api be replaced by openmapi? Or will those
api's exist side by side?

Cheers,
Dick Kniep
